Comic
Well…there’s probably worse uses for magic than styling hair with it. And Li does make a valid point that with hair that long, it’d take her quite a while to take care of it. It’s not like she can just will her hair into whatever style she wants like Lust can, after all…
The Artist Search was a great success. I got a lot of excellent art from a number of fantastic artists, so it was a very tough decision to choose just one to be the new artist for the comic. Ultimately, however, I selected Chris Monti as our new artist. Chris doesn’t have any gallery pages set up at the moment, but he said I could post the sample pages he sent so ya’ll can get an idea of what to expect in the next few months. And quite a few of the other artists have given me permission to post their work for you to enjoy as well. I still have a few people whom I haven’t heard back from regarding permission yet, so if/when they let me post their work I’ll update the page and let ya’ll know up front here.
Here’s a link to the gallery, which you should also be able to access through the navigation at the right. I was trying to be fancy and get the pics from artists who submitted multiples side by side, but it never quite worked out in the previews. Apparently my fiddle skills aren’t quite as strong as I would have hoped, so I should probably cancel that contest in Georgia. Probably just as well, since when I met my opponent the other night he smelt faintly of sulfur, which was a bit disquieting and probably would have distracted me the entire time.
Chris won’t be taking over right away, since I still have about five comics from Pip to post.
Thanks once again to everyone who participated in the Search. I’m a little flattered that so many people were interested in my little comic.
