Atta boy, Aramis!  Considering Telious' offer will surely make him take you serously and treat you like an equal.  That'll show him. For some reason, the "vague and non-specific doom" line just makes me chuckle every time I think about it.  Possibly just because it seems so like Telious to not really tell Aramis anything even when he's directly asking for his help, and Aramis is realizing it. And you see what happens when you don't drink your brandy, Aramis?  Your mentor-slash-archenemy's bodyguard comes over and snatches it.
